After the first book, which included the correspondence with Italian authors, we proudly present the second and last volume of the epistolary tome of the critic and president of the Venice Biennale, featuring letters with international authors. Among them are Ingmar Bergman, Ingrid Bergman, Robert Bresson, Luis Bufiuel, Marcel Carnè, Charlie Chaplin, René Clair, Henri-Georges Clouzot, Joan Crawford, Manoel de Oliveira, Elia Kazan, Akira Kurosawa, Friz Lang, Jean Renoir, Jean Rouch, François Truffaut, King Vidor, Andrzej Wajda and Krzysztof Zanussi, just to name a few. The archive was donated to the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia by Rondi himself in 2014; it is available for consultation at the “Luigi Chiarini” Library and is described by an index in the book’s appendix.
