Services provided by Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia
URP
The Public Relations Office (URP) of the Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia aims to facilitate the user’s relationship with the Administration, to guarantee the rights of information, access and participation enshrined, among other things, by the law 241/90 on the transparency of the Public Administration. The responsibilities of the URP are defined by the law L. 150 of 7 June 2000 as “Discipline of the information and communication activities of the Public Administrations”.
In detail, the URP carries out activities of:
- reception and first orientation of user requests;
- support for the correct and complete use of the website of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia;
- information on the organization of operational, central and peripheral facilities;
- information on the institutional activities of the National School of Cinema, the regional headquarters and the National Cinema;
- information on the programming of the Trevi cinema;
- information on the events of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (cultural initiatives, conferences, events);
- acceptance of reports concerning disservices or complaints

Newsletter
The Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia provides an information service through its newsletters on upcoming events, activities, competitions.
Scuola Nazionale di Cinema
In addition to the three-year courses, which are accessed by public selection call, the School offers film training workshops in various disciplines. Workshops are open to all.
Cineteca Nazionale – Film Archive
Access to collections and cultural dissemination
The Cineteca Nazionale makes the films of its archive available to cultural bodies for events without commercial purpose. The cultural loan service, regulated according to the following provisions, is usually reserved for Italy and by the “Area Diffusione culturale”. With regard to foreign countries, the Cineteca Nazionale has the right to collaborate with film archives, diplomatic representations and Italian Institutes of Culture and other cultural subjects according to different procedures.
Cineteca Nazionale – Photo Archive
The photographic archive offers an iconographic research, reproduction and sale service for study and/or publication purposes.
Cineteca Nazionale – Access to video collections
Cineteca Nazionale encourages the study and research activities on materials that it preserves by students of Italian and foreign universities engaged in the preparation of thesis, as well as teachers and Italian and foreigners P.h.D fellows, for the specific purpose of carrying out film research. The videos and movies already digitized by Cineteca Nazionale are available, exclusively for study reasons and by reservation, at the headquarters of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Via Tuscolana 1520, Rome, on video stations equipped with headphones for individual listening. Please note that copies of the materials cannot be obtained.
