On Saturday 12 March 2022, Steven Zaillian and Clayton Townsend held an exciting masterclass, talking about the numerous works - starting from last, the TV series The talented Mr. Ripley - which they are currently producing in Rome, with the contribution of Maurizio Millenotti, Artistic Director of the Costume Course.

Steven Zaillian, an American screenwriter, director and film producer, won the Academy Award for his screenplay for Schindler's List and was nominated four more times for Awakenings, Gangs of New York, Moneyball and The Irishman.

Clayton Townsend, also American, is a film producer, television producer and production manager. He has long collaborated with director Oliver Stone, for the productions of Born on July 4th, with which he won the Directors Guild of America Award, Natural Born Killers and Any Given Sunday. Among others, he has worked with Abel Ferrara, Daniel Pyne, David Mirkin and Joel Schumacher.
