Following government guidelines, the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia does not stop and starts an extraordinary program of distance learning aimed at all courses. The experimental nature of the “bottega dell’arte” of the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema was, in a very short time, converted into a virtual teaching laboratory that ensured the performance of the programs and sometimes even intensified the teacher-pupil relationship. Through a series of computer platforms, which allow sharing of links and materials of various types, students interact with teachers and professionals in the guest sector, carrying out educational programs, through the discussion of the topics covered, the execution of exercises simultaneously, the simulation of professional and working situations.
The individual work takes place through the sharing of audio files, text and graphics documents and video files that constitute discussion material to the frontal lesson. The individual relationship between teacher and pupil in distance learning activities, which does not have limiting time constraints, is also safeguarded, and can extend to comparisons and tests "in real-time".
