Renato Muro is a director and screenwriter. Born in 1986, he grew up in Procida Island. After studying fine arts, he moved to Rome and subsequently graduated in directing at National Film School Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. He has written and directed many shortfilms, documentaries and videoclip. His short films “Colla”, “Cosmic Anxiety” and “Il Manichino” have been presented and awarded in numerous international film festivals, receiving among others the Grand Prix Du Court-metrage at the Festival international du film LGBTQ de Paris. He was assistant director for several directors (Gipi, Danieli, Guadagnino, Sollima, Castellitto, L. Luchetti, Del Degan, ecc.) and currently he teaches film language at the CSC Scuola Nazionale di Cinema.
