Lombardy Office

In 2010 the new venue of Viale Fulvio Testi in Milan, in the spaces of the ex Manifattura Tabacchi has been inaugurated: a broad space, freshly renewed, conceived and designed to host a new and fully functioning show-business citadel, capable of offering great opportunities and new impulse to the initiatives the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is planning for the Lombardy territory.

The initiatives

The initiatives of the Lombardy Office have found a welcoming and stimulating environment in the cultural and productive social fabric of Milan and Lombardy: over the years, an intense relationship with the territory through the signing of more than 100 agreements and partnerships with prestigious institutions such as Assolombarda, MuseiImpresa, la Camera di Commercio di Milano, il Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia “Leonardo da Vinci”, il Piccolo Teatro di Milano, la Fondazione Altagamma, la Fondazione Scuole Civiche, l’Accademia Teatro alla Scala, la Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, Università IULM, Fondazione Bracco, Politecnico di Milano, Università Bicocca, Fondazione Banco Farmaceutico, Coop, Expo2015, other than with several film and advertisement production companies. Important projects have been developped also in colaboration with MIUR and with Ministero della Gioventù.

Maurizio Nichetti is the Artistic Director.

The Lombardy Office activities articulates on three different levels: education, production, and communication.

The educational activities offered by Lombardy Office are highly specialized, and are targeted to a small and selected number of students.

Advertising and Industrial Cinema Course

The educational program is structured over a three-years course in Advertising and Industrial Cinema, centred on the study of corporate film and advertisement communication, that aims to train project builders in the field of advertisement and corporate film. A definition that covers the skills of directing and producing, but also writing, filming, and account managing, all inevitable tasks for whomever will have to deal professionally with corporate film and advertisement.
