The Barreira A + D Superior Center for Art and Design is located in what used to be an old brush factory on Gran Via Fernando el Católico, which, only for its uniqueness, is in itself a source of inspiration and creativity. The campus has a total area of 3000 square meters distributed between technical classrooms equipped with the most modern technologies, laboratory classrooms, teaching rooms, multipurpose rooms, common areas, study areas and an ad hoc space: the Cepillería, which regularly hosts conferences, exhibitions and events organized by the Center itself. The technological classrooms are equipped with specific software for the various artistic disciplines and workstations with internet access that allow students to occasionally use their laptops. The campus also has a wifi network in all its facilities.

TEACHING METHODThe Brush method is a Barreira A + D methodology whose philosophy is the result of years of experience, research and innovation.Teaching revolves around the development of students’ individual competencies with the aim of maximizing their creativity and helping them develop their particular skills and abilities. The approach to the subjects is based on projects that allow the student to learn in an environment linked to current events in the working sectors. Teamwork and multidisciplinarity between the different branches of design are crucial aspects in the methodology applied by Barreira A + D. The choice to constantly adopt and support educational innovation and the use of new technologies as a fundamental support for applied artistic training make the Brush method a point of reference in design training.

VALENCIA The Barreira A + D design school is located in Valencia, the third most important city in Spain, as well as the European destination that welcomes the largest number of Erasmus students, and this does not surprise us: the capital of the Community of Valencia, bordered by the Mediterranean , offers a great quality of life to its inhabitants, both habitual and occasional. Safe, warm, welcoming, friendly, green, cultural, lively, well communicated: living in Valencia is an experience marked by sunshine, joy and the opportunities for personal growth and access to work that the city offers.
